Cleveland, OH – The United States Marshals Service is in search of 17-year-old Lavelle Spencer.
Spencer is currently wanted for escape from custody by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department. Spencer has pending charges in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas for aggravated robbery, assault, various weapons violations, kidnapping, gross sexual imposition, and rape.
Spencer is listed as a 17-year-old black male, standing approximately 5’10” and weighing approximately 150 pounds. Family, friends, and associates of Spencer are reminded that providing assistance could result in criminal charges.
A reward for up to $5,000 is being offered for information directly leading to the arrest of Lavelle Spencer.

(Douglas County, NE) The number one fugitive on the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List is back in Nebraska.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says on Tuesday, 29 year old Adam Hawhee was brought back to Douglas County by deputies. Hawhee was being held in Miami after being arrested in Nicaragua in April. Hawhee is facing two counts of Child Enticement and 26 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
In December of 2020, the DCSO received the two felony warrants for Hawhee. DCSO says initial attempts to locate Hawhee in the Omaha area were unsuccessful. The Sheriff s Office says during the investigation, it was determined that Hawhee may have fled the state and possibly the country. With assistance from the United States Marshals Service, DCSO determined that Hawhee had fled the United States to Nicaragua. Phoenix teacher arrested in Chicago for alleged sexual relationship with student

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - A Phoenix teacher was arrested after accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor.
The United States Marshals Service (USMS) said the man was arrested in Chicago after officials issued an arrest warrant for Justin Walters in Maricopa County on May 6.
USMS said Walters was the victim s teacher and groomed her before beginning a sexual relationship with her. After being interviewed by Phoenix police, Walters left Arizona.
“Perpetrators of child abuse often “groom” and manipulate their victims by establishing power in the relationship. This was the case with Walters, who was the victim’s teacher,” said the United States Marshal David Gonzales. “Walters’ arrest will ensure that he will no longer be in a position to exploit children.”
Rodriguez named new chief of Galion Police

GALION A longtime veteran of the Galion Police Department has been appointed its new chief. Marc Rodriguez was selected following a formal testing process.
Rodriguez replaces Chief Brian Saterfield, who retired last week after nearly 17 years leading the Galion Police Department.
According to a biography of the new chief supplied by the City of Galion, being a law enforcement officer has been a lifelong calling for Rodriguez. After meeting a Mansfield Police officer while attending a Safety Town at age five, Rodriguez determined to become a police officer.
“Others before self” is the phrase Rodriguez used to describe his leadership philosophy and style. He noted that he serves by mentoring and coaching and believes that this style of leadership creates a more cohesive organization, according to his biography.
