PM felicitates economic team on increased exports

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan, citing reports, said on Thursday that as compared to Pakistan’s exports, exports of India and Bangladesh showed negative growth in November and December, 2020.
Prime minister tweeted, “I have received the regional export trends and this shows that, compared to our exports, the exports of India and Bangladesh for Nov/Dec 2020 showed negative growth. I wish once again to congratulate the exporters and the Ministry of Commerce for this achievement”.
Statistics were also uploaded on his twitter account, which showed Pakistan’s exports in November and December last year were 8.32 percent and 18.30 percent, respectively, while those of India were -9.07 per cent and -0.80 per cent, whereas Bangladesh’s were 0.76 per cent and -6.11 per cent for the same period.

ISLAMABAD:
The government on Friday denounced the opposition for playing politics with the sentiments of Hazaras who have been holding a sit-in over the gruesome murder of their loved ones in Balochistan’s Machh coal field area on Sunday last.
Leading the charge from the government side, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz castigated the opposition parties for politicising the tragic Machh incident to gain political mileage.
