The woman reported the incident to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Monday. She said she spotted a car for sale on Craigslist that caught her attention because it was a 2009 Toyota Corolla model that was being offered for $1,000. The seller said she needed to get rid of the car because her husband had died and she was being sent overseas on an Army deployment. The woman agreed to give the seller the codes from e-Bay gift cards she was told to buy.

The Olmsted County Sheriff s Office said the vehicle had one headlight when a deputy attempted to catch up to it heading toward Fillmore County. The deputy felt the driver, later identified as Devin Dotzenrod, was trying to lose him.

Dover Man Found With Serious Head Injury Doing Much Better

Enter your number to get our free mobile app Dover, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate an incident that sent a Dover man to the hospital with a serious head injury. The 36-year-old man was found unresponsive on a Dover street late Thursday night. He was bleeding from both ears. The sheriff’s office is trying to determine if the man was involved in a confrontation. A spokesman said Monday morning the man is “doing much better” but investigators have not yet been able to interview him.

KAAL-TV Created: January 29, 2021 09:07 AM (ABC 6 News) On January 29, Olmsted County Sheriff s Office investigators were in the process of attempting to interview the 50-year-old suspect from St. Charles and solidify their probable cause to arrest him.  During that time, investigators learned he had been located in a vehicle, near Interstate 90 in Winona County, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. That gunshot wound took the life of the man. The Olmsted County Sheriff s Office said the investigation into the January 28 assault has determined that the victim was intoxicated and asked to leave the bar near where he was found. They said the victim was outside when a verbal altercation could be heard between the suspect and the victim, but investigators were unable to determine whether the suspect pushed or struck the victim.
