A Greenville County Emergency Medical Service worker was injured after being struck by a vehicle Monday evening.
The EMS were called to Keller Road in Taylors at 6:15 p.m. regarding a woman passed out in a vehicle. Investigators learned that when an EMS worker arrived, the worker began talking to the woman and at some point in time the woman put the car in reverse and struck the EMS worker before colliding with another vehicle and leaving the scene, according to investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff s Office.
A young child was in the vehicle and investigators are asking anyone who sees a Toyota Tacoma to call 911. The EMS worker was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff s Office.
