Deputies responded to Palamon Street Saturday evening Share Updated: 9:24 PM EDT Apr 24, 2021 Katie Smithson Officials in Greenville County are investigating after a body was found in the woods Saturday evening.According to Deputy Kory Morian, with the Greenville County Sheriff s Office, they received a call just after 6:39 p.m., from the Piedmont area.Deputies responded to Palamon Street, where a person found a dead body in the woods behind a home.The coroner s office is also responding to the scene, but no additional information was immediately available. Morian said the Sheriff s Office received a call around 6:40 p.m. Saturday concerning the body.
