The new cases increased the total number of confirmed cases to 905,852, including 823,157 recoveries and 62,295 active cases, the NCOC said in a statement. With the new tally, the death toll has risen to 20,400, said the NCOC, adding that 4,723 patients are in critical condition in hospitals. The country s eastern Punjab province has reported 335,577 confirmed cases, the highest in the country, followed by southern Sindh province which has 310,557 positive cases, the statement added.
