Community mourn the sudden death of Achonry teenager Published: Monday, 17 May 2021 10:11 The county Sligo communities of Achonry, Mullinabreena and Tubbercurry  are deeply saddened by the sudden death at the weekend of local teenager Eoin Mulkeen. Eoin, aged 16, from Achonry died following a tragic accident on Saturday. He is survived by his parents Shane and Ann Marie and his sister Kate, grandparents and extended family. He was a talented sportsman who played GAA and rugby. In a tribute on social media, Sligo Rugby Football Club say they re deeply saddened to learn of Eoin s passing saying he played with the club s Under 17 s and was “an integral member of the squad”.
