Jan 14, 2021 4:48 PM Palm Coast, FL - A reckless driver is now facing multiple charges after he crashed and tried to flee from deputies on southbound I-95. The Flagler County Sheriff s Office (FCSO) first received reports of the reckless driver around 2:30 Thursday (January 14) morning, following a tip that came in from Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). Through that tip, deputies learned of a tan Ford Explorer with an Alabama plate that was driving recklessly down southbound I-95 towards Flagler County. That same vehicle also came close to hitting a St. Johns County Sheriff s deputy as it was traveling through St. Johns. Flagler deputies attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, but to no avail. The vehicle continued for another couple of miles before crashing just a couple of miles north of Old Dixie Highway. After the crash, deputies

That search yielded quantities of Alprazolam pills, THC concentrate, and drug paraphernalia, leading to possession charges for Jackson. After he was booked into jail, Jackson posted bond and was released. Two days later, Jackson was found to be operating a vehicle at a high rate of speed, which led deputies to pull him over. A release from FCSO says Jackson was arrested during that traffic stop, charged with possession of cannabis. But, the charges didn t stop there. Upon closer inspection of Jackson s vehicle, deputies noticed discrepancies between the VIN and the registration of the car. Further investigation found the vehic

The Flagler County Sheriff s Office first received an alert from a license plate reader (LPR) about the trailer—that was stolen out of the Daytona Beach Shores area—as it was being towed by a black Chevrolet SUV Monday morning (January 11th).
