Man arrested after leading Sacramento County deputies on high-speed chase Joseph Daniels UP NEXT A man who allegedly threatened his girlfriend with a gun was arrested after a high speed with law enforcement on Monday, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff s Office.  A woman called for help around 1. p.m. after 37-year-old Alejandro Garcia assaulted her, officials said. Garcia escaped the scene before deputies arrived.  Sheriff s officials said he returned with a gun after 9 p.m. Deputies say he ran from the area again and a sheriff s helicopter alerted patrols after spotting him driving away.  Garcia led deputies on a chase at speeds of up to 90 miles per hour. Somehow his car became stuck on a medium near Grant Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard with the tires unable to touch the road.

It was the wake-up call people in a South Sacramento neighborhood near Fruitridge Road weren’t imagining on early Sunday morning. Cellphone video shot by a neighbor who didn’t want to be identified showed two thieves trying to go after catalytic converters. “It was early 5 a.m., somewhere around there,” a neighbor named Nick, who wanted to hide his identity, said. “It was my grandma’s Prius,” said Daniel, who didn’t want to disclose his last name. “Grabbed my clothes and tried to scare them off.”

Suspect In November 2020 Sacramento County Apartment Shooting That Left 2 Dead Arrested In Las Vegas CBS Sacramento 2 days ago Syndicated Local – CBS Sacramento SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) Detectives have arrested the suspect wanted in connection to the November 2020 shooting that left two people dead at a Sacramento County apartment. The incident happened back on Nov. 1 at a complex along the 8700 block of La Riviera Drive. According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded late that night to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, two people who had been shot were found inside an apartment. Both people were soon pronounced dead at the scene by medics, deputies say.
