Stop stealing from us : Victorville homeless shelter asks public to help find second stolen van
Another year, another stolen van.
Jimmy Waldron, the executive director of the High Desert Homeless Services in Victorville, is asking the public to keep an eye out for the shelter’s van, which he said was stolen Thursday.
Waldron said the nonprofit’s white 2003 Chevrolet Express 2500 passenger van, with a California license plate number of 5ANT610, was stolen at around 10:30 p.m. from the shelter located at 14049 Amargosa Road in Victorville.
“The guy that works here at night looked outside and saw someone driving away with our van,” Waldron said. “He chased the van down the alley, but the driver got away.”
