Emergency services were called to Oceanic Drive at Warana at 11.41am following reports multiple swimmers required assistance.

A woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital after ingesting salt water.
A teenage girl and a school-age child have also been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
The seven other people on the beach required no further treatment.
The incident comes after paramedics issued a warning over a spate of recent near-drownings.
The Queensland Ambulance Service has responded to 65 cases since December 1, treating patients from pools, dams and beaches.

Subscriber only An Amamoor woman was taken to hospital last night after she was bitten on the face by a dog. The woman, in her 50s, suffered the injuries at a private residence in the Mary Valley township about 8pm. She was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
