Emma Kauf,
Cameron Stanford and
Breanna Roper have each been named to All-ACC teams as announced by the league office on Tuesday. Kauf earned a pair of selections, being named All-ACC First Team as well as to the ACC All-Freshman team while Awald was also marked All-ACC First Team. Stanford earned her third consecutive All-ACC Second Team selection, and Roper was voted All-ACC Third Team.
Kauf, a second-year freshman, exploded out of the gate this season in her first opportunity to garner yearly ACC honors. The Lincoln, Neb. native won the year’s first ACC Player of the Week for her performance in the season-opening Buzz Classic. Since, she’s gone on to rank second on the team in batting average (.356), hits (47), doubles (7), homeruns (10), RBI (31), total bases (86) and slugging percentage (.652). Kauf owns the lone triple on the squad this season, and her homeruns and total bases also rank in the top 10 amongst the conference. The Tech backstop is the first Yellow Jacket

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have a storied basketball program with lots of great players to choose a G.O.A.T. from. Mark Price was the guy who got it all started for the Jackets. Dennis Scott was the original Steph Curry, as he showed that his range was unlimited during his time at Tech. Kenny Anderson was the leader of the famed “Lethal Weapon 3” team with Scott and Brian Oliver and is still GT’s all-time assists leader. THE FLATS – Georgia Tech wide receiver
Jalen Camp (Cumming, Ga./South Forsyth) was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 25th pick in the sixth round (No. 209 overall) of the 2021 National Football League Draft on Saturday in Cleveland.
Camp led Georgia Tech with 29 receptions for 439 yards and four touchdowns in last year’s pandemic-shortened 10-game season. He caught multiple passes in 9-of-10 games, capped by a five-catch, 95-yard performance in the season finale against Pitt. He hauled in his longest reception of the season with a 59-yard touchdown catch against eventual Atlantic Coast Conference champion and College Football Playoff participant Clemson.
