LAHORE: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said Pakistan’s anti-corona efforts have been globally acknowledged as it protected the lives of people and also ensured continuity of economic empowerment.
She said this while talking to the media after the inauguration ceremony of a private laboratory here on Tuesday. She said the TTI lab has started certification of anti-corona kits as protection of health workers is important. She negated the impression that nothing is being done by the government. In fact, public welfare is the essence of the PM’s political philosophy. The economy has started moving in the right direction and the government will now work to overcome the price hike.

Showing another one of her many talents, Special Assistant to Punjab CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan administered coronavirus vaccines to journalists in Rawalpindi.
At the inauguration of a vaccination centre for journalists, she took to inoculating people herself.
Babar Malik, a reporter at a local TV channel, said that the injection didn’t hurt him one bit. Another journalist said that it was an honor to be immunised by the leader.
Awan has always been on the front foot when it comes to trying new things.
Earlier, she rode a bike and took up a karate challenge.

SAILKOT - Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan inaugurated the corona vaccination of the journalist community in Sialkot by administering vaccine to journalists herself at the office of the Deputy Commissioner.
Addressing the media, she said that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, was expediting the vaccination process to eradicate corona and the process of vaccination of journalists had been started in all the districts of the province.

RAWALPINDI: Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said that media freedom is one of the most important pillars of democracy and the government has tabled the ‘Protection of Journalists and Media Professionals Bill 2021’ in the National Assembly.
Talking to the journalists while inaugurating the corona vaccination centre for the journalist community at the Rawalpindi Press Club, she said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the Punjab government was taking practical steps for the welfare of the media community and accelerating the vaccination process to eradicate COVID-19 all over Punjab.
