Kings girls test positive for corona

Bashundhara Kings women team’s five out of 21 national footballers have reported positive at the Bangladesh Football Federation residential camp.
They are: forward Krishan Rani Sarker, midfielders Monika Chakma, Ritu Porna Chakma and defenders Anai Mogini, Nilufa Yeasmin Nila and they are currently in isolation at the BFF camp.
Kings manager Pinky Sanwar told The Daily Sun on Sunday that the players caught a cold due to playing a league match on April 4 in the rain.
“BFF informed us about it two or three days ago. All of them are now okay. We suspended the camp on April 10. They were in good health when we sent them to BFF camp as per the instructions,” Pinky said.
Abahani’s AFC Cup match likely in India

A Dhaka Abahani Limited official said that they have been asked by Asian Football Federation to play their AFC Cup preliminary round-two playoff match against Maldivian outfit Club Eagles on April 25 in Bengaluru, India.
“The AFC asked us (Abahani and the Bangladesh Football Federation) to think, if the match is possible to play in Bengaluru before the next playoff match on April 28. They proposed to hold the match on April 25, said Abahani manager Satyajit Das Rupu.
AFC also suggested Abahani and BFF discuss the matter with All India Football Federation, Football Association of Maldives and the involving club to find out a solution during a tri-party - AFC, BFF and Abahani virtual meeting on Thursday.

DHAKA, April 10, 2021 (BSS)- Today is Jamal Bhuyan’S 31st birthday. The Bangladeshi professional footballer Jamal Bhuyan was born in the Danish town of Glostrup on April 10, 1990.
By showing his impressive performance with the ball in the field the 31-year-old midfielder made a good place in Bangladesh’s football.
Jamal plays for Bangladesh national team and Bangladesh Premier League outfit Saif Sporting Club. He is also captain of the Bangladesh national football team.
