NASHVILLE Some changes caused by the COVID-19 outbreak will evaporate over time as the country and the world overcome the pandemic, but others are here to stay as a result of some fundamental shifts.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Bridgestone Americas Inc. has promoted Robert Johnson to vice president of store operations for Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO).
In his new role, Mr. Johnson will oversee operations for all 2,200-plus of BSRO s company-owned tire and auto service centers and will play an active role on the BSRO executive leadership team. With more than 15 years of finance and operations leadership experience in the automotive and retail industry, Robert s background will be critical to helping BSRO reach our 2021 goals and beyond, BSRO President Marko Ibrahim said.
Mr. Johnson joined Bridgestone in 2016 as the executive director of finance for the company s retail arm. Prior to joining Bridgestone, he was as a regional vice president for Advance Auto Parts.
