  On May 27, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3200 block of W. 16th in Sedalia for improper vehicle registration. The driver, identified as Brandon Miller of Sedalia, was arrested on an outstanding probation violation warrant out of Saline County. A passenger in the vehicle, Tandra Neighbors of Sedalia, was also arrested on two failure to appear warrants out of Pettis County.   On April 12, a victim came to the Pettis County Sheriff s Office to report identity theft. The victim said that over a three-month period from October 2020 through December 2020, accounts had been opened in his name and charged over $10,000.

This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff s Office: On May 26 at 1:06 a.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to Highway M and Worth Road reference trespassing. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the suspect, Tiffany Ditzfeld, and placed her into custody, pending the filing of formal charges of 1st degree burglary and 1st degree robbery for the Sedalia Police Department.   On May 26, Pettis County Deputies were investigating an incident near Highway M and Worth Road when a red Toyota Camry almost collided with stationary patrol vehicles with emergency lights activated. Deputies made contact with the driver, Karen N. Metz of Sedalia, and subsequently arrested her for driving while intoxicated and transported her to the Pettis County Jail.

Pettis County Sheriff s Reports for May 25, 2021

This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff s Office: On Monday at 1 a.m. Pettis County Deputies were assisting the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a vehicle accident, when a subject not involved with the accident stopped on the roadway. Deputies made contact with the subject, who was operating a Dodge Dakota. During contact, Deputies could smell the odor of an intoxicating beverage coming from the driver, identified as Aaron J. Sims. Sims placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.     On Sunday, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Highways 50 and 65 for expired registration. The driver, Bobby Johnson of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. After a K-9 Unit alerted on the vehicle for the presence of a controlled substance, a female passenger, Kimberly Dickinson of Sedalia, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were transported to the Pettis County Jail.
