This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff s Office:
On Thursday, March 4, Pettis County Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle out of Springfield that was left in a parking lot in the 3600 block of West Broadway. The vehicle was returned to the business that owns it.
On Tuesday, March 2 around 6:55 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to 24500 Norton Road for a theft report. The reporting party said that between 10 a.m. on Feb. 27 at 7 a.m., March 1, items were taken out of his mail box.
On Tuesday, March 2, Pettis County Deputies conducted a vehicle stop on a red Ford F-150 near West 9th and South Beacon on a vehicle with no registration. During the stop, the driver, Pamela Brill of La Monte, was arrested for two active failure to appear warrants out of Pettis County.
The suspect vehicle then traveled into Johnson County. At that time the Patrol terminated the pursuit.
Then at 1:59 a.m., Pettis County Deputies located the vehicle entering Pettis County, west of La Monte.
Deputies attempted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, which fled from Deputies.
As the pursuit entered La Monte, Deputies were able to deploy stop sticks, which flatted three of the suspect s tires. Deputies pursued the vehicle east on Highway 50 into the Sedalia city limits.
Pettis County Deputies in the meantime requested assistance from the Sedalia Police Department. Police shut down intersections on Broadway to prevent innocent motorists from being harmed.
