The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
On Feb. 3, at approximately 7 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a property damage crash on South Yellowstone Highway, just south of Idaho Falls.
A juvenile was traveling westbound on West 81st South and attempted to go southbound on South Yellowstone Highway, in a 2005 Jeep Wrangler. John C. Schultz, 64, of Shelley, was traveling northbound on South Yellowstone Highway, in a 2016 Cadillac ATS. The juvenile failed to yield at a stop sign and struck Schultz.
Both north and southbound lanes of Yellowstone Highway were blocked for approximately 45 minutes.

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) - Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has announced the arrest of a Blackfoot man following an investigation by his office’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit.
The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested Andrew R. Young, 33, on January 28. A warrant had been issued for his arrest after the execution of a residential search warrant in Blackfoot in December 2020.
Young is charged with alleged sexual exploitation of a child. He is alleged to have possessed sexually exploitative material. He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail following his arrest.

IDAHO FALLS Authorities arrested a Blackfoot man on probation after he had an alleged romantic relationship with a 14-year-old girl over Snapchat.
Andrew Ray Young, 33, is charged with five felony counts of possession of sexually exploitive material of a child and felony delivery of a controlled substance. According to an affidavit of probable cause, in December, the victim’s mother contacted the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office after discovering nude photographs were allegedly being exchanged.
In an interview with detectives, the victim said over the past year, she and Young had been communicating over Snapchat. Young developed a romantic relationship with the victim and a friendship with her mother. The victim and Young reportedly sent back and forth nude photographs.
