Two people found dead in a vehicle outside Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis last week were shot in the head, according to a report from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner s Office.
The victims, Presley L.C. Taylor Jr., 51, and Nicole S. Columbus, 34, both of Minneapolis, were identified by the medical examiner s office on Tuesday.
They were found in a vehicle parked on the sidewalk on the east side of the 4000 block of S. 28th Ave. Police had responded to the scene at 10:42 p.m. Valentine s Day on a report of a shooting.
Emily fire claims lives of man and his dog
The body was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner s Office to be identified and to determine the cause of death.

EMILY The body of a rural Emily man was pulled out of a trailer home Monday, Feb. 15, after a fire destroyed the home.
The Emily Fire Department was called to the fire at 4:21 a.m. on the 24000 block of Crow Wing County Highway 1 in Little Pine Township.
Crow Wing County Sheriff Scott Goddard said the man and his dog were inside at the time of the fire and didn’t make it out. The body was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office to be identified and to determine the cause of death.
