IATF places Iloilo City under MECQ until end of May enablePagination: false endIndex: Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 23) Iloilo City will be under modified enhanced community quarantine until the end of the month, said the Inter-Agency Task Force in charge of managing the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon the appeal of the local government unit, the risk-level classification of Ilo-ilo City shall be escalated to Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine beginning May 23, 2021, until May 31, 2021, said the IATF in Resolution No. 116-C dated May 22. The decision was made due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the city. The resolution added Apayao, Benguet, and Cagayan will retain their MECQ status until the end of the month.
