STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. One person was transported to the hospital after a vehicle overturned in Travis Thursday, according to authorities and emergency radio transmissions.
The FDNY responded to the intersection of Glen Street and Lois Lane at around 4:54 p.m., according to an official from the department’s press office, after firefighters received a report of a motor vehicle accident.
It was not immediately clear if more than one vehicle was involved in the crash; however, emergency radio transmissions indicated the driver of one vehicle had to be rescued from the smoking car.
