The increase is dramatic in a month that has seen surging cases on the borough, and hospitalization numbers for COVID-19 that had not been seen since spring. As of Tuesday, 29,772 positive tests have been recorded across the borough since March, reflecting the 447 new cases. From Sunday to Monday, 224 new cases were reported.
