With confirmation that regular weekly shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine will be coming to Renfrew County and District, the Pembroke Regional Hospital is reassuring residents that everyone who wishes to receive a vaccine will have an opportunity to register for their appointments in the coming weeks and months based on their eligibility as outlined by the province.
In fact, in preparation for broader distribution of the vaccine, the hospital is in the process of moving its vaccination clinics from the hospital to the Pembroke Memorial Centre (PMC) in downtown Pembroke.

The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is excited to announce that with confirmation of regular weekly shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine arriving in Renfrew County and district (RCD), the list of those eligible for vaccinations will now be expanded to include the next priority groups as outlined by the province.
These priority groups include:

Retirement home residents (who will be vaccinated in home by mobile vaccination teams).
Retirement home essential caregivers.
Indigenous residents (on or off reserve) who are 55 years of age and older.
