MIAMI – Hydrogen is the simplest matter in nature yet a promising replacement to current fossil fuel. To emphasize, many pieces of research are underway about using Hydrogen as fuel, to cut down CO2 emissions to zero. Moreover, a variety of webinars are underway describing the technical side of the application of hydrogen into the future of the aviation industry.
Airbus has led calls for expressions of interest (EOI) to explore opportunities provided by hydrogen at Paris airports. The EOI aims at a vision to decarbonize the operations of air transport. MIAMI – A new temporary change for Air France (AF) schedule to Papeete (PPT) is to take effect from February 15 and up to February 28.
The flights to the Pacific Island will be reduced to one weekly flight with a stiop over in Vancouver (YVR) to avoid health related restrictions imposed by the US.
Air France said that “in view of restrictions being imposed on EU citizens to enter the US and the recent evolution of pandemic related measures in force in French Polynesia, Air France shall only offer one flight per week.”
The flight is scheduled to leave Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) on Saturday at 10:10 to arrive in PPT at 21:15 on the same day.
MIAMI – The COVID-19 pandemic ensured that airlines had to get creative in how to increase revenue. Airlines such as British Airways (BA) have resorted to selling their cutlery in an attempt to raise money.
Passenger ticket sales have been a rarity over the last year, and airlines have been struggling to fill their seats and keep their heads afloat. Most have seen significant financial losses, leading to a heavy reliance on government aid which, for British airlines especially, has been hard to come by.
