Wisconsin Republicans vote to toss out Evers statewide mask mandate
MADISON Wis. (CBS 58) Republicans in the State Senate voted to toss out Gov. Tony Evers statewide mask mandate as state health officials say face coverings are a crucial tool in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Lawmakers voted (18-13) with all Democrats in opposition of the resolution that would invalidate the mask requirement. Two Republicans, Sen. Rob Cowles and Sen. Dale Kooyenga joined Democrats in voting against the measure. The resolution, which does not require Gov. Evers signature, will now head to the Assembly for consideration.
The resolution introduced by Sen. Steven Nass (R-Whitewater) and newly-elected Senator Juilian Bradley (R-Franklin) would invalidate the latest public health emergency issued by Gov. Evers which extended the mask mandate until March 20.
https://www.afinalwarning.com/491704.html (Natural News) In 2019 alone, President Donald Trump stripped Planned Parenthood of $60 million in taxpayer funding. The Biden regime is planning to undo this, however, by funneling tens of millions of new taxpayer dollars back into the baby butcher industry.
In an announcement, Alexis McGill Johnson, president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, expressed an eagerness for its new “partnership” with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, who themselves are eager to get the baby murder mills back up and running at full steam.
“In partnership with the Biden-Harris administration [sic] and the pro-reproductive health care majority in Congress, Planned Parenthood Action Fund will work to not only reverse the attacks of the past four years, but boldly expand sexual and reproductive health care and rights for all people in the U.S. and across the globe,” Johnson said.
Climate change mitigation is an economic opportunity
MONROE COUNTY - According to Dr. Dan Vimont of the Director of the UW-Madison Center for Climatic Research, we are “never going back to the climate we had in the 20thcentury.” Vimont spoke to members of the Monroe County Climate Change Task Force at their January meeting.
The planet crossed the 400 parts-per-million (ppm) threshold for levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere in November of 2015. Since then, levels have continued to rise precipitously, measured at 415 ppm in 2020.
When asked about the much-discussed impacts of reduced emissions during the global COVID-19 pandemic, Vimont said that the effects were really “just a minor blip.” He said that the carbon emissions in 2020 were only about 10 percent less than the amount of emissions that would otherwise have been expected.
