Twenty-three Indian sailors stuck in China will return on January 14, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Saturday.
The cargo ship MV Jag Anand is set to sail towards Chiba in Japan, Mandaviya said.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj Sunday assured medical visa to a Pakistani man for his father provided the case was recommended by the country’s adviser on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz.

The Indian Ambassador to Beijing Vikram Misri has provided options to the Chinese government to resolve the grave humanitarian crises facing 41 Indian sailors stuck on two “floating prisons” off the Chinese coast for nearly six months due to an escalating trade conflict between China and Australia.
Misri met the Vice Minister of the Chinese Foreign Ministry in Beijing while the External Affairs Ministry is in contact with the Chinese embassy here for an early crew change on the two ships, spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Anurag Srivastava said at a news briefing here on Friday.

New Delhi [India], January 8 (ANI): India has reported a total of 1,04,13,417 COVID-19 cases, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Friday.
These include 20,539 people who have recovered from the deadly infection and 234 people who succumbed in the last 24 hours.
While 1,00,37,398 people have recovered from the novel coronavirus so far, 1,50,570 persons have lost their lives to the virus in the country.
There are 2,25,449 active coronavirus cases in India, as per the Union Health Ministry. Kerala, the worst affected state in the country, has reported 64,639 active cases.
