Vietnamese Embassy in India redoubles citizen protection efforts amid COVID-19 fight
The Vietnamese Embassy in India is making every effort to protect citizens, whilst striving to ensure their health, safety, and lives amid a range of unpredictable and dangerous developments relating to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the South Asian nation.
Do Thanh Hai, counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in India, shared these ongoing efforts taken to protect lives during an interview recently granted to a VOV correspondent based in New Delhi.

South Koreaâs Naver Corporation and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) - Vietnamâs leading research university - in late March launched the AI International Research Centre under the Symposium on Information and Communication Technology, marking the first Southeast Asian AI research centre in Hanoi. Accordingly, the two parties will together build and operate the centre with the purpose to deeply research and train a high-quality labour force in terms of AI.

Hanoi â Four Vietnamese universities have been listed in the Impact Rankings 2021 by Times Higher Education (THE), the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nationsâ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The four facilities are Vietnam National University-Hanoi, which is ranked at number 401-600, Ton Duc Thang University (401-600), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (601-800), and Phenikaa University (801-1000).
All the universities received high rankings for achievements relating to SDG 8 - decent work and economic growth. Only Vietnam National University-Hanoi is placed in high position for criterion SGD 4 â quality education with 71.4 points, ranking 92nd in the world, the highest ranking that a Vietnamese education facility has reached.
