At least that’s the case with local success story Nature’s Bakery, which was recently sold by the Marson family to Mars subsidiary Kind.
“It’s like a marriage where the child you raised — at a certain point, you gotta let them go,” said Nature’s Bakery co-founder Jan Marson. “I still kind of cry a little bit sometimes.”
