Elsa lashed the New Jersey and Delaware early Friday morning, and the National Weather Service confirmed two tornadoes.
A 100-mile-per-hour wind gust was also recorded in South Jersey at the height of the storm.
No one was reported hurt in the greater Philadelphia region, and little damage was reported outside of the coastal regions.
Two tornadoes stuck in separate New Jersey towns near the shore at the height of Tropical Storm Elsa early Friday morning, the National Weather Service confirmed.
