Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba By Tue Jul 27 2021 The Nigerian Police Taekwondo Association (NIPOTA), announced yesterday that the 9th edition of Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Open Taekwondo Championship, will commence today at the Nigeria Police Badminton Complex, Police College, Ikeja, Lagos State. NIPOTA Chairperson, Mrs Stella Ebikefe, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and Taekwondo Gold Medalist for the Nigerian Police, who disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja, explained that children and teens will compete on Wednesday. Ebikefe noted adults will also compete on Thursday and Friday which is the final day of the competition. She said “Except for the special guests, athletes and officials, there will be no spectators. The events will create an avenue for both the Police Force and the society to come together as one in a happy mood, confirming the proof that Police Officers are friends of the society.
