Writing her debut novella, âDeath by Arrangementâ, has been an education in book development for Kathleen Torian Taylor.
âIt was like going to school for four-and-a-half years,â the Galt resident told the Herald. âI feel like I should have a masterâs by now. But itâs exciting. I love the response Iâm getting.â
Taylor will hold a book signing for âDeath by Arrangementâ on May 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at The Coffee Shop Bakery. The day before, May 21, she will be featured on Good Day Sacramento, at 10 a.m.
Taylorâs romance thriller follows Sarah Soon, a San Francisco accountant who aspires to become a torch singer. (Taylorâs website lists Sarah Vaughan and Diana Krall among the authorâs favorites.)
