President Mark Murphy, general manager Brian Gutekunst and coach Matt LaFleur are aware of Rodgers's sentiment. "As we've stated since the season ended, we are committed to Aaron in 2021 and beyond," Gutekunst told ESPN on Thursday. "Aaron has been a vital part of our success, and we look forward to competing for another championship with him leading our team." On Wednesday, the 49ers reached out to the Packers about acquiring Rodgers, but no formal offer was made, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. One of Pelissero's sources says there is a "zero percent chance" Green Bay trades its franchise quarterback.
