Aboriginal Tourism Grants to enhance experiences in Territory

The Territory Labor Government has awarded more than $220,000 in funding to support 14 projects under round two of the Aboriginal Tourism Grant program.
Eight Aboriginal owned and operated tourism businesses in the Top End will receive more than $135,500 while six businesses in Central Australia will benefit from $92,900.
Grant funding will back key projects including business plans, infrastructure upgrades, bush camp facility improvements and training programs.
Saltwater Cultural Tours, based in Darwin, has been awarded a $19,500 grant to install two containers and decking for the development of cultural tours.
In Central Australia, the Menge Aboriginal Corporation has been awarded a $20,000 grant to support a concept plan for the development of a tourism connect hub and Aboriginal training facility in the heart of the West MacDonnell Ranges.
