Texas Tech quarterback Alan Bowman has entered the transfer portal, and like the Goblet of Fire he'll come out a new person on the other side. Bowman said in his announcement on Twitter: "I have decided to enter the transfer portal as a graduate transfer with 3 years of eligibility remaining. I will forever be a proud alumnus of Texas Tech University and will always cherish the memories I’ve made here. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me next." The embattled quarterback also thanked former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who recruited him when no other Big 12 school did. He also thanked current head coach Matt Wells for continuing to provide opportunities over the last two years. Bowman went on to thank his teammates, the support staff and AD Kirby Hocutt for making his time as a Red Raider special.
