APT James to set sail before February The arrival of the APT James at the Port of Port of Spain, Trinidad on Friday - The new Tobago fast ferry, APT James, is anticipated to be in service by the end of the month. Nassir Mohammed, communications manager of the National Infrastructure Development Company Ltd (NIDCO) said in an e-mail response to Newsday on Thursday that the ferry is anticipated to be in service before February 1. Mohammed also said the lease for the Jean de la Valette (JDLV) will expire on February 1. The APT James arrived in Trinidad and Tobago waters on January 8 after a 30-day trip from Australia.
