The “Fall in Love with Sleep” challenge will take place between Feb. 1 and 28. LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 8, 2021) — With Valentine’s Day approaching, University of Kentucky faculty, staff and students are invited to join the “Fall in Love with Sleep” challenge. Most adults average about six hours of sleep per night or even less. But healthy sleep patterns can help reduce stress and anxiety; improve performance at work and school; lower your risk for health problems such as diabetes, heart disease and weight problems; and even improve your immune response. “Fall in Love with Sleep” challenge is to monitor your sleep using the Sleeprate app for at least seven days during the month of February. The nights do not need to be consecutive, but they must fall between Feb. 1 and 28 to be considered for a prize.
