Soloway, being present at the “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6, prior to the attack at the U.S. Capitol has carried on as, for the third straight county government meeting almost six weeks later, public comments on the topic dominated the last hour of the board’s session. Those who chimed in punctuated a public outcry over Soloway’s judgement and support for conspiracy theories surrounding the 2020 Presidential Election, as well as the backlash from her many supporters who decried “cancel culture” because petitioners and protestors sought her resignation from the county board.
