Atlantic City Police Investigating Assault of City Councilman
Cops in Atlantic City say a city councilman was assaulted Thursday night.
According to the Atlantic City Police Department, at about 10:45 PM, their officers responded to a parking lot near the intersection of Florida and Atlantic Avenues for the report of an assault.

Arriving officers found the victim, 4th Ward Councilman MD Hossain Morshed with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
Morshed was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment.
