Apr 16, 2021 BERKELEY – California track & field is set for its first full split squad meet of the season this weekend at the West Coast Classic on Saturday, April 17 in Eugene, Oregon and Tucson, Arizona. The Golden Bears' throwers and distance groups travel to Eugene for competition at Hayward Field, while the sprinters and jumpers go to Tucson for action at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. Field events start at 12:30 p.m. in Eugene with the men's hammer throw and track competition gets underway with the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase at 6 p.m. Action in Tucson starts at 3 p.m. as women's long jump hits the runway and the women's 100-meter hurdles opens competition on the track at 6 p.m.
