Belarusian State University to open Uzbek language, culture center Photo courtesy of the BSU MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – A center of the Uzbek language and the culture of Uzbekistan will be set up at Belarusian State University (BSU), BelTA learned from the BSU press service. The center will open in line with the roadmap signed by the BSU and the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navo'i. The signing ceremony was held during the visit of the BSU delegation led by BSU Rector Andrei Korol to Uzbekistan. The center will aim to strengthen educational and cultural ties between the two countries and facilitate the studies of the language, history, and ethnic groups of Uzbekistan. The center is set to open in December 2021.
