Per Fisher’s take on the situation, it seems as though the rivalry has no chance of renewal in the next 10 years. “Right now, that decision [to end the rivalry] was made a long time ago, and we have no control over it,” Fisher said in the interview, per 247Sports. “There were some things done there that are water under the bridge and I don’t know what all of that was, but I know right now there’s no way [the Lone Star Showdown] is going to happen for 10 years or so.”
