International Migratory Bird Day is celebrated on the second Saturday of May. Many migratory birds such as jays, eagles, finches, hawks are found during this season. Throughout the years, birds take flight across the globe, flapping their wings, singing migratory songs. Every year, the world celebrates International Migratory Bird Day in order to commemorate the arrival of hundreds of migratory bird species between their summer nesting habitats in North America and wintering grounds in Latin America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. While there are many days dedicated to celebrate the life of birds across the globe, May 4 is observed as the official Bird Day.
