The Safeway supermarket that has operated on North Carson Street since 1973 will be closing on Nov. 23, according to notice sent out by the company today. The notice reads: This morning, we informed our employees of our intent to close this store permanently effective November 23rd. We have approximately 50 employees (full and part-time).
