20 December 2020, 11:37 pm EST By The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new guidance to help minimize the COVID-19 vaccine's side effects on those people who will take it and have allergies. The new guidelines were issued after the agency found out that some people experienced anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction after they took the COVID-19 vaccine jab. According to Independent UK's latest report, the new recommendations state that those who are suffering from severe allergic reactions should not take the second jab. CDC said that you are considered having a severe allergic reaction if you need to be treated with EpiPen or epinephrine. If you are also advised to go to the hospital, that means you are experiencing anaphylaxis.
