The CHP issued the warnings at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, cautioning drivers to be cautious of high winds on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, the Benicia-Martinez Bridge and the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge, as well as at Altamont Pass between Livermore and Tracy. Winds recorded late Tuesday afternoon at San Francisco International airport reached 58 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
