By Donald Jeffries One of the most surprising parts of the $2.3 trillion coronavirus relief bill signed in late December 2020 was a decree giving U.S. intelligence agencies until June 25, 2021 to reveal all their information about Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). The Office of Naval Intelligence’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force and the FBI will be required to provide “a detailed analysis of UFO data and intelligence” and “identify any national security threats posed by UFOs.” The CIA, meanwhile, has released its “Black Vault” UFO documents online, on a website run by author and podcaster John Greenwald Jr. “Research by The Black Vault will continue to see if there are additional documents still uncovered within the CIA’s holdings,” Greenwald declared. Blasting the agency, Greenwald noted, “The CIA has made it incredibly difficult to use their records in a reasonable manner. In my opinion, this outdated format makes it very difficult for people to see the documents, and use them, for any research purpose.” Most of the documents are heavily redacted, as is the case with most information the government is forced to disclose under the Freedom of Information Act.
