In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Cindy Hawkins, pastry chef/owner of Circle City Sweets, makes us a Guinness chocolate cupcake, with a Jameson Ganache center and a Bailey’s icing. And may we add… it’s AMAZING! About Circle City Sweets: Cindy Hawkins grew up in a baking family, baking alongside her grandmother, mother and sisters. Sugar cookies were a favorite. In 2006, she launched Circle City Sweets participating in farmer’s markets as well as taking on her first Pastry Chef position. In 2008, she moved to Chicago to attend the prestigious French Pastry School. After graduating at the top of her class, she returned to Indianapolis to expand Circle City Sweets. In 2010 she opened her first retail location at the Indianapolis City Market and continues to participate in many local farmer’s markets, provided wholesale pastries to locations such as Nordstrom, Circle City Soups, Mills Catering, Foundry Provisions, Calvin Fletcher’s, Wildowood Market and many other local coffee shop and has a strong catering and wedding business. Circle City Sweets is Indianapolis’ go-to spot for the best croissants and macarons in the city.
