SWEETWATER COUNTY — The Sweetwater County Commissioners will consider approval Tuesday for the county to apply for the Wyoming Business Council for a Rural Development Grant to assist small businesses in recovering from the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. If approved, the grant award would be used to assist small businesses in Sweetwater County recover from the pandemic by providing consulting sessions and a webinar in collaboration with “Entrepreneurial Communities”. The project would be led by consultant Mo Collins, who would provide “short-term, high-impact” consulting sessions. According to the Commissioners’ meeting agenda and packet, the project also includes developing a “business community assessment” that could identify future courses of action to strengthen economic development in Sweetwater County.
