As case numbers have been on an upswing—and after seeing today’s record numbers—it’s understandable why they wanted to get an update out over this long weekend. Travel issues Once again, Henry and Dix have emphasized that no one should be traveling, unless it is essential. Yesterday, B.C. Ferries stated that the 11 a.m. sailing from Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island, heading to Tsawwassen, was delayed. CTV News Vancouver Island reported that a passenger aboard the vessel refused to wear a mask, which violates public health orders and the B.C. Ferries policy, and also caused a disturbance.
