Covid-19: managed isolation workers hoping Pfizer vaccine ends virus and stigma too

From Saturday, Auckland border staff will be the first to receive the vaccine, as the Government hopes to inoculate the 12,000-strong workforce in the next three weeks.
Hamilton managed isolation workers will start getting jabbed a week later, from Friday February 26.
At Distinction Hamilton, conference rooms will be partitioned into cubicles, vaccinators will administer the jab at a specific appointment time to ensure it's at the correct temperature.

The first batch of Pfizer vaccine arrived in Auckland on Monday, on a flight from Belgium. Auckland border workers will be vaccinated from Saturday.
